One band lived their dream of rocking an NFL halftime show during the Seattle Seahawks final home game!

Challenge.

Promote a bracket-style battle-of-the-bands competition spanning the entire NFL season, while staying true to the unique identities of an insurance company, an NFL team, and live entertainment promoter, Live Nation.

Solution.

Haven Agency created a one-stop hub for users to watch videos of the competing bands and then vote for their favorites. After every Seattle Seahawks home game, the bands directly competing that week were open for voting. Users who submitted votes were also entered into a sweepstakes in which they could win prizes. Haven updated the website each week based on the voting results from each battle, culminating in the ultimate prize - a winning band was picked and they grabbed their picks to rock Century Link Field during halftime of the Seahawks home finale!

Results.

The winning band wasn’t the only one who rocked it – the website was also a huge success, yielding thousands of passionate fans who voted for their favorite bands.

AmFam and the Seattle Seahawks selected Live Nation to help them promote their season-long battle-of-the-bands competition. Live Nation turned to Haven Agency to pull it all together. We designed and developed a website that included a countdown to each home game’s band competition, giving site visitors a chance to preview upcoming battles.

After each home game, we switched the site over to voting mode, enabling fans to vote for their favorite band and also enter into a sweepstakes. The promotion spanned from August through December, with weekly site updates occurring after votes were tallied from each band battle.

Ultimately, a winning band was selected and promoted on the website. The lucky band graciously rocked CenturyLink Field during halftime of the Seahawks final home game of the season.
